dice-controlOne of the most interesting concepts for beating the house in casino games is craps dice control.  With craps dice control, you are essentially trying to throw the dice the way that you want – hence the word “control” being involved.  A lot of people chalk the concept of dice control up to pure nonsense because it seems impossible to throw the dice exactly how you want.  However, there is a sect in the gambling community that totally believes in dice control so the subject is definitely worth a look.

Basics of Dice Control

Wouldn’t it be great to avoid throwing a 7 whenever you wanted?  This is essentially the idea behind craps dice control since you are supposed to be able to put some skill into your roll.  In order to develop the skill aspect, you need to practice holding the dice the same way and use the same throwing motion; some people even practice this at home.

If you’re wondering how to hold the dice, the recommended way is to put the 3’s on top in a V-shape.  The reason for holding the dice this way is because no 7 combination is exposed with the V-shape.   And if you get the same throwing motion down, you will be on your way to becoming a dice control expert.

Does Dice Control Work?

Even though dice control makes sense in theory, there are still a lot of skeptics.  After all, it does seem like a little too much to be able to control how the dice fall.  But whether it works or not, using dice control in craps is definitely fun and adds a lot to the game.  Plus you only need the dice to roll how you want them once or twice out of 40 throws to gain an edge on the house.
